Proceed down the path, taking out any meddling Draugr before you crawl through a long tunnel full of bodies. As you land, note the Shatter Crystals strewn along the edges of the arena - this is your key. You’ll be crossing them in just a minute. Climb the ledge again follow the edge of the area around to the left. Grab a crystal and backtrack to that sap wall. You’ll get some valuable crafting resources and an Eye of Fury legendary enchantment. Ignore the rune seal for a moment, and break some crates to the right of the ledge going up to find a side path ending in a gap towards a coffin on another island. Jump the gap, then look at the spike-lined tunnel on your left. There’s another patch of Breath at the top. Dodge his strikes and pummel him until the parasite is expelled and then finish it off. Its color upon picking it up will determine whether you’ll recover HP, rage, or runic cooldown. Now you can (finally) head for the exit. We don’t want to spoil it. Against teh wall on teh right you will see a boaded up wal. Handle them, then look to the right side of this balcony for a shock crystal dispensing root. There’s not a lot to these puzzles — just stay out of the fire and kill the draugr that pop up as quickly as possible. Let go of the cart, and knock the door open to find Bottoms Up artifact 2. It’s encrusted with World Tree Sap, so grab a nearby Shatter Crystal and toss it over to have Atreus shatter the thing - but it will only lower to the floor above. The Mountain Terror will start attacking by spewing lightning into the air that will strike from above in bolts - and you can see where they will fall by watching the ground. While you’re running around, take the time to knock down all three bridges above you. There are two large stones here, push off one (and only one) to start rising into the air before stopping at a mid platform. Importantly, Jarn Fotr will drop a frozen flame that will let you upgrade your axe. Up ahead the path will end in a long hall of traps, and the spinning mechanism to open them has no gear to freeze. As the lift continues up, it will hit another stop, with even more Draugr arriving to fight. Keep doing this to knock him to the ground and take another chunk out of his health. He’ll revert back to ground slams and keeping his claws out - but watch if he pulls back one claw, as the dragon will slam it forward in an unblockable attack that you can dodge to the side of. Shove both of the rocks off the platform to ride your next elevator. Finally smash through the planks behind the statue and have the boy light the crystal torch. Reavers and nightmares will appear so take them out. Right before you get back to the throne room, there will be a light crystal on a rickety scaffold above you. Climb these to move on to the next area. Legendary Chests of The Mountain Look behind the lift to the left side to spot the Shatter Crystal and have Atreus take aim to blow it apart. Follow the wall to the right from the hidden chamber door. He’ll now alternate using claw slams from both claws, requiring constant readying of your shield. At the end of the tunnel, turn right. Find the large cart and start pushing. As you slowly cross the deep snow to your goal, many Hel-Reavers will try and stop you. Wait for his strike and dodge to the side, then beat him into the wall until he dies. Kick it down, then drop down along it for a wooden chest. There’s a crate you can smash that will reveal a chain. After his blast passes, toss the crystal towards where he started his attack (but keep your distance) and the crystal will explode in front of him. Go through the doors to get inside the mountain. Engage them quickly - but watch for the Heavy Weapon-wielding enemy: A Hel-Viken. This Troll infuses himself with the power of ice, and like the last troll you fought, he’ll use it to deal more damage with both his weapon and his appendages - specifically his foot. Drop down inside and open the coffin there for some more steel. There’s a lot of fighting on the ride up, but nothing to pick up. Head back down to the main path. Grab one more crystal and carry it up the ramp (last time, we promise). This will leave you free to hit the revolving mechanism to open up half the hallway from spikes, but close the latter part. It will ride up for a short while once more, before getting stuck as even more Draugr - followed by a very angry Ogre - appear to fight. Look to the north across the room. Up ahead, you’ll pass a World Tree Sap blocked passage to find Hel-Reavers praying to something. That leaves us with the mechanism by the lit torch near the center of the room. Make use of your Runic Attacks to keep him on the defensive and follow up with Atreus and his Runic Summon or Light Arrows. Once the tunnel is open, head inside. His lunging attacks with claw and teeth are far reaching, meaning dodges won’t help you - but thankfully holding your shield out before the attack will negate the blow. After killing them, look behind you for a ledge past the cliff you climbed up, and hop across to a Hacksilver Chest. (Obvious not-really-spoiler: while it seems like this is going to be the end of the game, things don’t go exactly as planned and you’ve got a ton of game left.). If you haven’t gotten the two wooden chests on either side of the door yet, do so this time. There’s a color-changing rock and a coffin on your left with a surprise inside. You can wander the Lake of Nine if you’d like, but your main goal is to head up the mountain. Run up the ramp on your right and step up to the wheel on your left. Engage them carefully, making sure not to get hit by their frost attacks that can enrage some of them. Have the boy shoot the crystal to free it, then open it for the Tyr’s Revenge light runic attack. Watch out for his stomp that will send a line of frost at you. Cross the third wooden bridge heading west. Clear out the draugr on this level, then turn around to your right. Once you’ve collected everything, head into the tunnel next to the broken cart — the one the draugr came out of the first time you were here. Turn to the left and follow the cliff’s edge to find the treasure. After killing them, look around and you’ll spot two ways up - a large wooden scaffold, and a rock wall to the left. Continue forward, then climb up the ledge on your left. Continue along the ramp to the top. As you finally learn the name of your pursuer, keep climbing around the cliffside and finally up to the top near a great tree. Clear out the other Draugr on this side of the bridge, then move left and up some platforms to find a Coffin holding a Scaled Waist Guard of Focus. When you drop down into the gap, turn around to find a light crystal on the ground behind you. Take the zipline down from the Lore Marker and move along the right path. However, it will still require a bit of work to get up. After killing the monster, look above where you came in for a lone crystal - shoot it and you’ll reveal several buckets full of Hacksilver you can knock down to loot. Keep going until you come to an open room with a few Hel-walkers. When the dragon returns to using electric blasts from his new angle, stand next to the Shatter Crystals opposite him. Use Tyr’s Bridge to cross over to the Vanaheim tower. God of War (2018) With their final goal set at the top of the Mountain, Kratos and Atreus enter the interior of the Mountain, where they will have to fight with numerous creatures, solve puzzles to unlock their way and face the mighty Dragon Hræzlyr. Start pushing, then break the chain when it stops, and keep moving it forward towards the door. After the tunnel, recall your axe and use it to knock spiked door out of your way. Approach the mechanism with the gear and ropes to loosen things up a bit too much, getting the rope stuck under a giant rock, and also clearing out the cave-in by the center where several Draugr will charge forth from. Continue past the chest to find the huge rock that’s keeping the crane from working. As the beast retreats, it will leave behind an electrified tunnel that has also affected some of the weird sap, making it explosive when paired with the red crystals nearby. The path to the next area is right ahead of you, but there are a few more things to grab before we go there. You can’t do anything until you … Turn right from the shrine and look up. There’s also a crystal-activated lore marker here, but you don’t have a way to get a crystal here (see: sap wall). Talk to Sindri and buy or upgrade anything you can. Open the gate and retrace your steps back up to the second level. God of War treasure map: The Last Place They’d Look How to find it - At the top of the lift inside the mountain, you’ll see a pathway lined with explosive red crystals. Turn to the left and carry it across the wooden bridge. Try and keep the Revenant hemmed in with Atreus’ arrows and your stunning moves and be ready to pivot and reface as soon as the Revenant vanishes. If you didn’t get that map yet, you’ll just have to come back here later. Strange blue roots block the entrance to the summit, but luckily there’s a crack in the rock to the side that you can climb up towards the sound of voices - one of them is ominously familiar. This will almost certainly go exactly as planned. To your left is that sap wall you still can’t get through. Instead, turn to the right and climb onto the wooden platform. Head through the door and then head left to find a light crystal above you. There’s no way to beat them yet (one of them can kill you with one hit), so you can ignore the tear for now — just remember it’s here. The room to the right has a large recovery crystal that changes colors. Go through the large gate and follow the tracks to your cart. Turn left and look for a crate blocking a tunnel. The first thing you’ll see is another sap wall.
