It takes you 2-4 hours via Lenape Trail Loop in South Mountain Reservation, New Jersey. The Waterfalls Trail is a strenuous, 1.8-mile roundtrip hike that involves 600 stairsteps one way. From there, the trail runs along the canyon rim to Foster Falls. The trail follows Fiery Gizzard Creek for a time, then ascends 500 feet (150 m) to Raven Point which offers a "spectacular overlook." The bridge across has lost the railing from the storm so its kinda scary to cross, but its sturdy and that made the adventure fun. When we set out for our day of waterfall hiking in the Umpqua we intended on hiking Wolf Creek Falls first and then heading up to Grotto Falls but some wayward GPS directions took us off the beaten path adding an hour of time to our day so we decided to leave it for another day and head up to Grotto Falls the first of three falls that also includes Hemlock and Yakso Falls.
